THE APPLE VALLEY QUARRY SHADOW

ODDKNOWN’s owner-imported local folklore says a shadow-like figure is seen standing above a quarry in Apple Valley after dark. Research did not locate an independently published witness account, historical case, news report, or paranormal investigation matching this exact story, and the existing pin does not identify which quarry is meant. Apple Valley does have documented mining and quarry operations, including active or proposed sites recorded through California’s environmental-review system, but tying this report to any particular operation would be speculation. The shadow figure therefore remains an unverified local claim, not an established haunting. No named witness or incident date has been independently identified. Because the specific site is unknown and quarry property can be dangerous or restricted industrial land, visitors should not enter or cross posted property boundaries to investigate it.
